Weekend
I spent 12 of my waking hours out in the sun holding up a sign for Pulte Homes... it was my first weekend at my new temporary summer job!! I'm not too fond of my new sunburns, but I'm earning around $100 a weekend, so I'm not complaining.

Here's a post from my Facebook:
For most, if not all, of you who attended BA 26:
Remember Glenn's "humorous God" story about getting a Sonic slush? Well, I have to share a story of my own.
This past Saturday was my first day at my new temporary summer job; I get paid to hold up a sign on the side of the road... easy, but the sunburns I could do without.
It came to be about 3PM, and I was getting thirsty; I was running low on cooled water. I thought, "A shaved ice or one of my popsicles would be nice right now." I kid you not, a minute later, a Hispanic gentleman drove by, turned around, had his passenger window of his white truck rolled down and handed me a cold orange Gatorade. I kindly thanked him - both in English and Spanish - and all he did was smile and drove on. It's not a popsicle or a shaved ice, but it was flavored and cold.
That filled me with so much glee that, if I didn't have skin, I would have been jumping all out everywhere.
Sorry, that sounds weird, but I was so excited that I had my own "Sonic story" that all I could do for the rest of my time out there was smile and enjoy the Gatorade.

I also watched "Mad Money" with David yesterday evening. We've been talking for a while, and he's one of my really good friends. He knows there's no chance with me, but he wishes there was; he admitted to me Saturday that he's looking for a long-term relationship with a girl just like me. I felt bad, but I'm taken.

There's really not much to say about my weekend except for those two things, so there you go.

For a long time, I've kept dream journals, poetry journals, quotebooks, and now I have a prayer journal and all my email journals (MySp, FBook, and this one). Curious how people change through time.
