Special Delivery!
Today my order from Transrepro.com finally arrived in the mail! I stated in a few previous entries about placing this order. I have been eagerly anticipating this package for weeks and I was not disappointed upon opening it. For those who don't remember, my order included a lot of different pieces. I got replacement accessories for Thundercracker, Skywarp, Swoop, and Beast Wars Scorponok. For my Alternators Windcharger and Decepticharge, I got a Drive Shaft/Gun Barrel w/ metal pin since the U.S. Alternators versions didn't have these pieces for their weapons. Seeing these Transformers finally fully completed almost brought a tear to my eye.
In addition to the accessories, I also got a conversion kit for Wheeljack that includes a replacement head, windshield, and wings to make him into the Diaclone Marlboro type pictured HERE! I've been working on this conversion for weeks now. I bought an old Wheeljack body off eBay really cheap, cleaned it up, and repainted most of it. I also got replacement spoilers from Transrepro.com. All I need now is the sticker set to complete him.
On top of all that, I also got a few accessories that were only available from exclusive Transformers. For Generation 1 Optimus Prime, I got a replacement translucent blue windshield, a translucent blue Matrix, and a translucent orange Energy Axe. Now I have a Generation 1 Optimus Prime with accessories found in the New Years and the Re-Issue Collection #0 Editions. I also got another translucent blue Matrix and a translucent blue Energy Axe for Ultra Magnus.
For Generation 1 Megatron, I got a conversion package kit which includes replacement stickers, Megatron's sword from the Japanese Edition, and a Retro Fit firing kit along with a little surgery enables Megatron's gun mode to literally "fire plastic bullets!" All I did was follow THESE INSTRUCTIONS and now my Megatron is now fully functional!
Last, but not least, I got a set of Diaclone drivers just for the fun of it. The original Diaclone line that the Transformers were based on included small drivers to pilot the giant robots ( hence the small cockpits in most of the first two series of Generation 1 Transformers). I have one stationed in Prime's Trailer, but I don't know what to do with the other three just yet. I'm sure I'll think of something.
I would definitly recommend Transrepro.com and Reprolabels.com for any restoration and/or custom job. Check them out!
