There are few things quite as satisfying as telling your favorite life stories to someone who's never heard them before. Or telling someone about your passions for the first time. Or the struggles you've been through and where they've taken you. Helping a person better understand you. And then receiving all of that in turn. In a nutshell, the kind of conversation where walls come down and two people choose to allow each other deeper into the messes of who they are.
Usually their perceptions of each other change, moderately at least and radically more often than not. Sometimes in a good way, sometimes not.
This time it's a good way.
