Getting in the House

Looking at the crater left by the exploding hologram, n** chuffed.

<Is that going going to be a problem for you, Mosquito? > Flan asked.

"Not really," n** replied. "There's always a back door."

<You know the layout of the house? >

"Who said anything about needing a layout?"

Restoring Wynn

"Wynn was killed protecting Shalimar while rescuing Nogard and Xink," Lord Avondale said to Kaku. "I can only conjecture that the god of the Renstok had somehow reordered Wynn's memories when he used her to come into this world."

"I have a bad feeling that he's going to be after the Dynasty and those associated with us," Shalimar said, looking at Kaku. "He may be targeting the friends of the Dynasty first before coming after us directly."

"We are unsure what he looks like so be wary of any strangers that seem interested in any of the members of the Dragon Dynasty," Lord Avondale said. Expecting further questions, Lord Avondale decided to plow on his plans for restoring Wynn, "Sir Kaku, your idea is a brilliant one--but dangerous to both you and Wynn."

"I don't want anyone hurt," Wolf said.

"Of course not," Lord Avondale replied. "My idea for restoring Wynn's memories--maybe not the same Wynn we knew as no one is quite the same after dying and loosing one's memories--is to...Lady Rose?"

Rose had scooted quickly away from Wynn's unconscious form with a surprised look on her face.

Walking over to Rose and kneeling in front of her, Lord Avondale placed a gentle hand on her temple. Ignoring the others for the moment, Lord Avondale appeared to be staring into Rose's eyes--but what he was doing was assessing her innate powers to see if she would be useful in restoring Wynn. The girl's reaction after attempting to restore Wynn herself was quite interesting.

Standing and offering a hand to help Rose to her feet, Lord Avondale said, "Lady Rose, if you are willing, you will be the anchor point for these three as they dive into the maze of Wynn's mind to try and restore her memories."
