Best cliffhanger, ever.
The Doctors various allies start to come together, but when the Doctor and Rose meet, he is grazed by a shot from a stray Dalek.
Gwen and Ianto face down a Dalek, and Sarah Jane collides with a couple in her car.
As Sarah Jane faces certain doom from the two Daleks she accidentally collided with, the Doctor Starts to regenerate...
Here's what I think will happen:
Gwen and Ianto are rescued at the last moment by Capt. Jack.
Sarah Jane is rescued by Mickey Smith.
Something or Someone will prevent the doctor from regenerating, but will still save his life.
Here's my reasoning:
Gwen and Ianto: Both characters have been confirmed to be in the next season of Torchwood.
They can't very well have a second season of the Sarah Jane adventures without the main character, now can they? Also, Mickey Smith has been confirmed to be in the last episode of the season.
And finally, David Tennant has a contract for Dr. Who that extends into 2010 (which will be the next season incidentally, with five TV-movies/Specials in between).
