The Rant: Parents.

hello I am back. today's rant is about parents. Lately my mom has been aggrivating me to no end and apparently so has everyone else's. parents always say that they are doing these things "for our best intrests". but do they really know what our best intrests are? of course not! when we are going to our jobs five days a week and have homework everyday from school and also long term projects, the last thing that is in our intrest is going to out of school activities, music/sports practice, AND watching little siblings or other kids all in the same day. Also, they say that they went through the exact same things that we went through. that statement right there should express its own stupidity. There is absolutly no way that they went through the same stuff. back then, it was much harder to stay in touch with friends and when they got their paycheck, they did not spend it all on gas instantly. now adays, we have cell phones and working house phones. that makes it all the much easier to hang out with friends and scince we spend so much time at work and school, that becomes a necessity to keep our sanity. On to jobs, in their time, everything cost little and even though they got less, they still had enough to keep money and spend the rest on what they needed and wanted. Now, we have to bust our butts to earn our 6.25 so we can buy a gallon and a half of gas or one meal from any fast food place. Then we also want more money to buy the stuff that intrests us, which is not the same as our parents intrests, and after that we still need money so we can take our significant other out for a good time without running through the local mcdonalds. that is it for now, mainly because I am tired of typing. dang it! I can't get my mind off of this. where is that other steak? maybe I'll grab some beef too...... (walks off)
