Hobby- Arynus enjoys reading old manuscripts of elements in various libraries and rehearsing music on his violin, which he named Voltair. However, he does not compose his own music, as he finds it too difficult and frustrating.
Bio- Arynus is a gentleman, behind his solitary demeanor. He is occasionally quiet around women, but he is courtious nontheless. He dislikes bright places and red fire, but particularly dislikes sleep - he had a "nightmare" of being kidnapped and raped as a child, and hasn't slept a night since. However, he enjoys watching others cringe in their nightmares, as a form of revenge as what happened to him as a child. Otherwise, he is a rather happy person! Also, Arynus has a tendency to sit on the roof at night and gaze up at the moon, almost entrancing him by it. His mood seems to change depending on the phase of the moon (for example, during a new moon, he is completely silent and distant from others, and he gradually becomes more social and happy as it waxes into a full moon, then degrading into a silent, solitary person again as it wanes into a new moon). Thus, he has acquired the nickname "Lunar." Also, Arynus was born in Alexandria, Egypt, and is quite fond of the moon god, Thoth, and often visited el-Kab to see the remains of Thoth's temple.
Extra info- He loves learning about his element and spending his nights gazing at the moon. Arynus is gay, and he has a talent for attracting other men... who occasionally believe him to be a girl, due to his feminine appearance. He also enjoys playing musical instruments (particularly the violin - which is his favourite - the piccolo, and the flute).
Appearance- He has brown hair and violet eyes, and he has generally pale skin, since he spends most hours of his life under the light of the moon - or street lamps. He usually wears clothes in blues and silver colours, and occasionally blacks and whites.

Arynus is extremely evasive and agile. Since he is a Mage, his intelligence is very high, and so he is a very strategic thinker. Arynus also specializes in: staff-fighting, counter attacking in direct combat, and elemental/magical enchantments [i.e. spells].

Strengths:
Heavily wet/moisturized areas or water-infested areas help him to increase his magical abilities. Also, the moon, stars, and the night give him strength and, in a sense, energize him. Arynus is strongest at midnight and on full moons, and he specializes in counter-attacking when faced with direct combat. [Simply put, his power is derived from the Moon and the Water.]
Weaknesses:
The element Light/Lightning. He is also afraid of eternal daylight, dehydration, and his curse. Lunar can hardly operate in desert-like areas or areas without moisture in the air or earth. He is also weak against direct combat and attacking directly.
Weapons:
He wields a double-bladed scythe or halberd [whichever I happen to call it at the time], with each blade in the shape of a crescent moon. The blades are embedded with a form of a crystal as hard as diamonds, so they are nearly impossible to break. The crystal can grant him the ability to summon his staff and create water from anywhere, as long as there is moisture in the air. (Occasionally, depending on the role play, Arynus will carry a single-bladed scythe/halberd rather than the double-bladed one.)

Arynus seems to have two personalities to him: A dark, secluded, and silent type and a social, generally cheerful and longing-to-help type. (Depends on the role play.)
History:
Arynus was born in the midst of twilight, where time and space itself is neither living nor dead. He is an orphan, whose sister he has never known, since they were separated onto opposite sides of the planet at birth. He wanders the world in search for her in hope that, one day, he may be reunited with his only living family. Unfortunately, both his sister and himself were born under an ancient curse, a curse to which may cause a massive apocalypse if they were ever to meet again. He hopes to find his sister and break the curse before it is too late.
When he was growing up, he was taken in by a group of monks at a Temple of Unda (Water). A woman, Lunaris, appeared in the town approximately seventeen years after he was born, and the two fell deeply in love. Arynus soon found out that Lunaris was a fallen high priestess from a Temple of Sol (Sun), and was banished from her realm. In a sincere act of love, Arynus abandoned his temple the day subsequent to his priesthood. When the village learned of this, they banded together in search to hunt down and kill the two fallen priests. Arynus, fortunately, escaped unharmed into the Forest of Atra (Dark). However, his beloved Lunaris was not so lucky, and disappeared soon after the assault. Arynus, in honour of his love, acquired her name, Lunar, and clad the Temple of Luna's symbol: an upside-down triangle on one's right cheek. Arynus has been in search for Lunaris for two years, but has never found her. To keep his love for her pure, Arynus chose to never fall in love with another woman again. However, he met a very attractive male demon one day, and, e'er since, Arynus has had a fancy for men.
Arynus also has a tendency to look up at the moon, almost entrancing himself by it. He lets the moon guide him and make decisions for him, as he feels it is his very being and soul.
