Read me!
Bitter Old Man
Well I went to the cottage this weekend to visit the grandparents and it was fun. Luckily we were just ahead of the mega storm that hit toronto and the tornadoes that were coming down like prices on stale donuts. Anyway the weather cleared up by today.

I got to see my second cousin who I haven't seen in almost a year. But I sometimes get annoyed with her because she's always got something going on, like she's getting beat up by everyone at school or she's dating a teacher who is 20, yes 20 years older that her. I have no problem with who shes dates because it's her life I just think she is kidding herself and that her many other stories are made up. She plans to marry this guy by the time she is 19 (she's 17 now) and want to have a kid when she is 21. But I worry about her because she told me that he just used his last girlfriend and that they have been in love since she was in the the 7th grade. 1. I think this teacher might have something wrong in the head because he is going after someone who still hasn't even finished highschool, and 2. he might just be using her for sex. I mean she has all these plans of marrying him and moving in with him in a year and basically be totally dependant on him and I just don't think it's right. Then again I don't really have alot of hope for that side of the family because I regret to admit the majority of them are trailor trash drunks and drug addicts. gonk And although my cousin seems almost determined to avoid going the same path as her predeccessors her dependance on her supposed boyfriend of 2 years makes me worry. For her sake I hope she can be different than the rest of her family.

Now for the topic of my title, it relates to my grandfather. He always finds something to critisize. Mostly my grandmother. But today he got mad at me. When I went to say goodbye to him he just said, "I don't have time for this s**t, you haven't said anything to me in almost 2 years." Fortunatly for him I was stunned into silence, otherwise I would have responded. "Well greetings work both ways you know. I can't even count the number of times I have come and you haven't said a word, or you were sleeping or out doing work. I'm not about to hunt you down just to talk to you just because you don't want to talk to people in front of you wife, and God forbide that a visitor should interrupt you're 'retired' work schedule. I was here all yesterday and you didn't say a word to me, so excuse me if I'm not about to kiss your a** and worship the ground you sleep on." He's just too stubborn and pigheaded to admit he is wrong and I really pity him because he has pushed away everyone, all his friends, his wife, and his kids. My dad is the only one that still puts up with his s**t but he plans to tell him straight up next weekend why no one visits him or touches his stuff anymore. As I said no one touches his stuff, this is because if you do and something goes wrong, doesn't matter when, it is always, always your fault. My stepmom who has been working with computers for a long time and went to university for 12 years on that subject programmed his computer (which by the way he got from a man who just put old parts together) and since his computer was crap to begin with it kept breaking down. This is what he told my dad, "She broke my computer, I shouldn't have let her touch it she doesn't know what she's doing." To which my dad responded that she had gone to University for 12 years on the subject, unfortunalty my grandfather just can't admit when he is wrong. I think though that the cause may be the many strokes he has had combined with his age. I just hope I will be able to hold my tongue should he ever snap at me like that again.
