Someone wrote this in the ED it's not my own handiwork, reguardless if i'm disliked by it or not.. I'm posting it here.. After all, You don't have to visit my journal.. It's just there.
I find that life-long commitments such as marriage and child-rearing should wait until one has reached full maturity. Considering that brain development and growth does not complete in its entirety until between the ages of 21 and 25, I believe that a 19 year old should not be permitted to make decisions that determine the future of another being. Someone I know very well is the child of a mother who married at 21 and had them at 22. That individual's life was hell because, frankly, their mother was not capable of such advanced decision making.

Maturity is something of personal character, or how one acts in stressful or difficult situations, because then a person's true ability to react to a situation can be seen. Fake social interactions are often misjudged as many people rely on outward appearance to mask inner strengths/weaknesses so as to present a simpler version of oneself to the world.
Additional ways to judge if a person is mature include rational thinking and logical explanation in solving a problem, and the art of reasoning while debating.
