Master of the city Once shot (rough draft)
"The master of the city is coming!" Spencer said as he squeezed throw the crowded dance floor to the equality crowded bar, "The master of the city is coming!" he repeated tugging on the bottom of my shirt. I picked up a glass full of a green liquid and drank it all; I placed a 20 dollar note on the bar and walked towards the door with Spencer following me.
Out side the music could still be heard as with the chatter of people trying desperately trying to get in, causing a small chuckle escape my lips. The bouncer nodded his head in my direction, "Don't do anything that will get you hurt Riona." He said noticing the master coming; I looked at the bouncer and waved bye to him. Spencer followed behind me as a walked towards the master.
"I see you have a wolf as a companion now," The master chuckled, hidden under a black wide brim hat and a large trench coat, glowing gold eyes where the only thing you could see. Spencer stiffened up behind me, offended by the comment the dark figure said.
"Be still my friend, he only is messing with you." My words seemed to calm my friend down. I looked back so he could see I was telling him the truth.
"Why all hidden Master, trying to blend in." I pointed to the hat and coat, holding in the laughter that was building up in my stomach.
"I'm giving the humans a show, as you know it's a big night in the vampire district…" I nodded remembering what day it was, toning was the night parliament passed a bill allowing Vampires to walk amongst human and not be killed; the night where vampires where given the same rights as human. "…and why are you not at you club Tara?" I shrugged my shoulders in reply and held my jacket closer to my body as a slight breeze came.
"Chris took my shift so I could pick up Spencer and find you." I looked back towards my little wolf friend and gave him the jacket I was wearing. "You look like you need this more then I so." I said smiling, receiving weird look from Spencer. "You need it more then me." He said trying to hand it back, I gave him a look as to say 'you wear it or I make you wear it' which he listened to and but it on.
"You found me so what are we to do?" The master of the city asked.
"To guilty pleasures, Drinks on me!" I pointed down the street, the glowing green neo letters of the sign glowed in the darkness of the street. "I'm to young still." Spencer said, looking down.
"I own the club remember, I can do whatever I want." I said pushing him forward. Leaving the Master of the city and I still standing on the street, my friend turned towards me with a questioning look, which I surprised myself with knowing the look.
"What is the real reason you took tonight off?" He asked puzzled, for as long as I have owned the club I never took a night off.
"Well I was thinking maybe you would like to get a Bite to eat" I said allowing my incisors to grow, so they could be seen over my bottom lip. Making the Master of the city grin too, understanding what I was saying. He grabbed my hand and we walked off into the shadows looking for our meal.
After finishing off our mean of two deliciously young teens we decided it was time to go you Guilty pleasures to see how Chris and Spencer where going. I whipped my mouth to make sure their was no extra blood on my chin, I looked over to the Master and saw a trail. "Hey Eric you got a little trail." I said pointing to his chin, he whipped off the excess blood.
I walked past the bouncer of guilty pleasures giving him a nod, while the bouncer bowed towards Eric. The line of chattering people whispered to each other announcing the entrance of the one they we're all dying to get bitten by.
All you could hear when entering the club was music and the drunken chatter of my dear customers, but also you could hear the sounds of Spence and Chris arguing.
"What is going on?" Eric asked the two bickering brothers. They both jumped and turned towards the master of the city and I. It was scary to think this name could hold so much power, the Master of the city meant the strongest of them all, the ruler of the vampires, and I was going out with him too. The funny thing is I was the one who created him, I am stronger then he, but he had a better image for our kind.
"Oh hey guys, same drinks?" Chris asked already pouring our drinks.
"What we're you two arguing about? How bad each others breaths are?" I said while taking the shot of the green liquid again while the master to a shot of his brown liquid.
"He is asking for alcohol, I won't let him." Chris said, taking the bottle of clear liquid away from his little brother.
"Let him drink, you know he's old enough." The master spoke, Spencer's eyes lit up as he took the bottle again and started to drink.
Halfway through the night Eric and Spencer left so it was Chris and I left to clean up and close. "Chris you leave, thanks for your help." I said shoving him out the door then throwing his coat on his head, locking the door behind him so he couldn't get in. Leaving me in the darkness of my club, finishing up counting of the clubs profits. 'Over even tonight, good job guys' I thought to myself, recounting the money to see how much I needed to restock the back room.
When I was about to leave I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist, I smiled to myself and put my hands on top of the hands around me. "Hello Master of the city, or should I say Eric Elmdor."
