Light.
You skimmed the edge of the park, daydreaming about pointless junk that won't ever happen in reality today. The sun was setting quickly and you had to get home before dark, so your family wouldn't worry. Making a sharp turn to your left you found the road and followed the familiar path home, but a voice shot through the silence. Someone was calling you name, turning you squinted your eyes at the figure jogging towards you. The sun's shine was behind it, but you knew who it was determining his voice. "Hey Light. What's up?" You called when he was almost caught up. "___, want to hang out? Come down to my house, my mother is making tea." He seemed more rushed and stuttery than usual. You shook your head, "Sorry.. curfew." You sighed. He laughed, and crossed his arms. "Come on, you can't break the rules even once for me?" He said, a mischevious smirk played on his lips.
"Okay, okay fine."
Sitting on the edge of Light's bed, you watched him type some things on the computer. "So, i risked the chance of being grounded for this?" You asked, sipping your tea. He smiled and finished up with whatever he was typing. Then got up, walking towards you. He sat down beside you and grabbed a nearby bookbag. "I have something to tell you." He said, pulling out a black notebook. He sighed, and handed it to you. You examined the note, "Death Note" The cover read. You flipped it open, only to find hundreds of names written down. You turned to Light to ask him what this was, but your voice got stuck in your throat when you saw a huge creature standing next to him. Dressed in black with big scary teeth, you opened your mouth to scream, but Light covered it up.
"Shh!"
You pulled away, not sure of what to think.
"What in the world is going on!?" You yelled, he got up and wrapped his arms around you, pulling you against his chest. "It's okay, ___. I'm Kira.." He whispered. The words took a moment to sink in. & when they did you gasped. Light is Kira.. you thought. Pulling away.
"So then why am i here? Aren't you scared that i'll turn you in?"
Light shook his head. "No, because I know you love me." He said. A smile formed on his face as he noticed you blush. "I'm going to make you my Goddess." He stated, before telling Ryuk to get out. Light pushed you on the bed, pinning your hands up. You didn't struggle, you weren't sure what to do. Let him? Or push him away, but he was too strong. So either way, this was going to happen.
2 Weeks Later.
You were in the restroom again, throwing up.. Again. It had been this way for the last couple days and you were pretty sure you knew what was wrong. You were pregnant, and didn't know what to do. You were scared, and you were STILL grounded from the day you stayed out until midnight. So you couldn't tell Light yet. & even if you could, would you? What would he think? The pain of rejection was something you couldn't bare right now. Wiping your mouth, you head downstairs to get a glass of water.
"Good morning sunshine!" Your mother beamed. You grunted and head to the cupboard, "Please mom, I'm too old to be called 'sunshine'.. just call me by my name.." You said, grabbing a glass and filling it with water. "Well someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. Maybe it's all the fresh air you're missing. You're not grounded anymore, so go outside. but you better be home on time."
"Aren't I a little old for a curfew?"
She shook her head, "Nope, you're still my little girl and i don't want anything to happen to you." Too Late.. You thought, as you placed the empty glass in the dishwasher and left the house.
You took a long walk around the city, until your legs got tired, you sat down in the shade of a big oak. Taking in a deep breath. Summer was the best season according to you, never freezing, all the flowers bloomed and beautiful. Hot sun, all day long. If only it were the only season. You lay on your back, watching the sky through various branches and leaves. Eventually falling asleep. A poking at your side was what woke you up a couple hours later.
Convinced that you were in bed, you rolled to your side and grunted. "Go away.."
"We might have to do something about that attitude." Light's voice startled you and you sat up straight, looking up at him and remembering your location.
He walked you down to the ice cream shop. You sat next to him on a park bench, quietly and not sure what to think. I can't tell him. You decided in your head. & pretended to act normal the rest of the day. It was now the third week since you had been.. "Blessed" with a little surprise. Your tummy had a definate lump, you wore a sweater to hide it.
Light showed up at your house later that day and you both went to hang out. The both of you ended up at a coffee shop, where you sipped coffee and had random conversation. "Time to go!" You said, after checking your watch. Light sighed and looked at you, but his gaze traveled down to your stomach. "___..." He whispered as if in a trance. He grabbed you by the wrist andpulled you closer to him, with his free hand he placed it on your stomach, feeling the bump that was definatly there. "Y-you're.." You chewed your lip, not knowing what to say to him. "Well.. I've been eating a lot lately, so don't be surprised. It's all the food you've been getting me!" You blurted and tried to pull away.
Light kept his hand firmly on your wrist, and suddenly smirked. "You're pregnant! with MY child ___. Why didn't you tell me!" He said, looking you in the eye. You looked down at your feet and shrugged. "You don't want to have my baby?" Light asked, kneeling down to examine your tummy even more. You looked around at all the people staring, and then patted Light on the head. "H-Hey can we do this somewhere else.. People are staring." He got up and nodded, taking you back to his house and telling Ryuk to leave his room. "He lifted up your shirt and carressed your stomach, you sat and let him. The secret was finally out and he wasn't taking it badly.
"So..What do we do.." You said suddenly.
Light looked up at you and smiled. "We tell our families, they can't do anything about it. We'll move out together, and become the gods of this world, along with raising our child of couse."
You smiled, and nodded. Light took your hand and walked you home, where you would both tell your mother.
& she would faint of course, but end up trying to be supportive of you two. (she wouldn't know Light was Kira.)
About 9 months later, you had a son.
