Today was pretty good. I'm still feeling depressed, but at least I'm depressed with nice new goodies. I played some on Gaia this morning after I got up. I kept saying I wanted to go out. So about 1 pm we went out on our shopping adventure.
The first place we went was to Barnes and Nobles. I had some gift cards from my mom left over from easter. With his card I bought Drake Goodnight Moon. With my gift card I bought myself Something Wicked This Way Comes. I also bought some creative writing magazines. I went a little over what I wanted. I hope that the magazines will help me get back on my creative track.
Next we went to Target. I had a gift card left over from my Baby Shower last August. I got this cool black nail polish. Instead of being in a bottle it is in a tube. It is uber easy and quick to apply. I think it was a good deal. I also got some nail polish remover. We got Drake a set of toy keys that make car type nosies.
We went to Half-Priced Books next. They are still having their sale. I didn't really feel like I had enough money to buy anything, but Kip, in his awesomeness, got me the first two discs of Chobits. Chobits = Wicked Cute. heart
