So, I've finally seen the last four episodes of season 2 of Torchwood, and I have a couple of theories regarding the third season (although a third season has not been confirmed yet, it is pretty obvious that it will be made because of the huge success the series have been).
Anyway, spoilers are coming, so if you haven't seen the second season yet, and you don't want to be spoiled, read no further...

Okay then.
MY THEORY (INCLUDES SOME SPOILERS):
Owen Harper isn't dead, well, he's undead, but he wasn't destroyed at the end of the final episode. In fact, I think he is very much alive, but trapped. I also think that the radioactivity will start to mutate him, which leads to my next paragraph.
The Weevils aren't aliens at all, they come from earths future, in fact, they are descendants of Owen Harper, which is why they revere him and he is the "King of the Weevils".
Okay, crazy theory over.
