Flying

I fly at night condemned to fall every time
Bringing me to a hole dug with loneliness
Tears fly up as i fall down
Take my hand, let me bring us closer
All i want to do is see your face
Know who really is behind that wall
We may never know each other
Two people connected but so very distant
I could meet you one day and not know it
Only our souls could shout to each other
As we walk past another
I want to hold your hand
So you can be my light
Overtake the depths of sorrow
This world i see at night
Will never be real
Yet my mind holds strong to the thought
That i will see you one day
Forever bound by unseen thread
Today i cry
Waiting for someone to catch my tears
Turning them into diamonds
I'll sleep in their arms with the comfort of knowing
Ill be flying in my dreams
With arms to catch me when i fall
