Compensation So after ignoring each other for nearly a year, my dad begins talking to me and wants to give me a laptop because he's getting me a new one, wants to give me money, wants to get me a new phone, and wants to take be on a cruise for my birthday. Ugh. He'll really never learn. It really hurts, too, for him to think "Oh, I can win her love with money and false hope and aspirition just like I did ten years ago." I'm no idiot.

	I'm sorry squeaky, i know how you feel. Thats what my dad does to me. he buys me all these things when he is not "broke", and yeah i like getting stuff but i don't like that he is doing it so that he can try to win my love and he is also always bringing up things about my mom, he tries to make her sound bad even though she is not, she is the one that pays for everything we do and he dosen't even give a crap. sorry i kinda got into it near the end. but i hope you feel better squeaky.

	I think he needs to figure out what to do. Or, this may be a horrible option to go for, but counciling. I mean for you too. Like not consist of you guys having to go anywhere together, but help each other by telling each other what's wrong together while in the counciling office. I don't like that, & it's weird, but I don't feel that anything is going to be resolved if you don't do it face to face so you can actually see what's going on...

	There's no need for it, because I'm calling him tomorrow. Not only am I going to that cruise to get out of this house and away from this worry, but also to try to bond with him. So many emotions building up right now... too much to deal with. :[ I won't sleep a wink tonight.
