...AND then it does lol? ^^;;

God, lol...

Last night, dad got home, I got the second degree about hiding my hand and all... and then it was off to the doctors...

At the late hour; we couldn't get my regular doctor and all... so we got some person I'd never seen before; a really gruff old guy and all, who seemed pretty interested in ripping my clothes off for an examination even though it was only my hand/arm >.>; Oiii...

I swear he was about to call a nurse with a hacksaw to cure the problem XP

Well... miraculously; he somehow remembered there's such a thing as 'X-Rays' new invention and all folks... after a few minutes of him yanking my arm about X_X

So... results came back... and; to tell the truth; I'm not too enamored... YES, I ended up casted...

YES, the old git used plaster (Which is a VERY sucky cast material compared to fiberglass...)

YES, he gave me ALL the dos and don'ts of having a cast...

And NO, I don't think he's right

Because it was my HAND I smooshed, not the entire wrist/forearm... because the X-Ray he brings back shows not only some bones in the hand damaged; but a break in one of my wrist bones called the Vernaculur (SP?)

APPARANTLY, this is one of the hardest bones in the body to heal, with a very poor blood supply x.x And it takes up to 16 weeks to heal... anyone wanna count?

4 MONTHS!!!!! ><

I kept pleading with mom and dad I hadn't hurt my wrist; but nope; they didn't believe it after my hiding the injury in the first place...

So; there we go; plastered left arm for maybe even 4 months x.o I wanna get a second opinion ASAP; the old fart REALLY didn't come off well with me, and if I have a cast for 4 months; I wanna know it's for a REAL injury x_x

::Sighs...::

CURRENTLY, I'm chicken peck typing; barely using the left hand; I'm still able to handle a very cool writing speed; I'm no Ritsuko Akagi, but multiple broken arms have taught me to adapt to this kinda typing style ^_^

It does get better news though ^^

Since plaster sucks; I had to wait overnight for it to dry in the hospital and all... when mom and dad picked me up; they'd calmed down ^_^

AND had a present ready lol; that was cool :3

Whenever I break something; they're there with a get well present; and mom's late good fortune with a scratch card helped out ^_^

AND with all my resting time today; I've seen it!!!

The series completed!! AND IT RULED!!!

...I dunno if Merle counts as 'cool' lol... dangit

I won't reveal much; but the final fight scenes in the Guymelefes well met expectations; and the ending itself was touching; yet lovely ^_^ I'll remember Escaflowne as a great anime; and keep the collection close to my heart ^^

But it didn't end there lol :3

I went and called all my friends IRL; you know the old fashioned way; with a phone? :3 Told 'em about the new cast... and they all popped over to join in the Escaflowne ness

And they brought a gift too X3 Apparantly I shoulda gave 'em more notice lol; but Greig handed me down his Ironclaw Roleplaying book!!

I mean; that is near SACRED to him lol ^^; An anthropomorphic roleplaying game... I'm REALLY gonna have to learn how to use it ^^

Elsewise; I'll be fine; I just gotta keep resting now and again ~_^

Hopefully I'll get that second opinion; cast might come off and hand okie, but we'll see ^^

In the meantime...
