Meeting the Characters

There are a total of three main characters in the Pikmin series,the first is Olimar,a captain for the Hocotate Deep Space Shipping Company.He is married and has two children and a dog called Bulby.In the first game Olimar crash lands on Earth,probabbly in Japan,and must find most of his ship pieces in 30 days or his life support system on his ship would malfunction and shut down.He does not breath air and his suit filters oxygen from what he breathes.He first encounters the red Pikmin,then Yellow,then Blue.Then,in the second game,he returns back to his home planet to find his employer,Hocotate Frieght(aka. The President) in debt and returns to the Pikmin planet to get treasures from the Pikmin planet with Louie.

Louie is somewhat of a slow character,not processing everything around him as fast as most,and has an odd interest in bugs.He is a very quirky character,also,and is a big help to Olimar throughtout his stay on the Pikmin planet.But when Olimar gets enough treasure to repay the debt he leaves Louie behind...

The President is the owner of Hocotate and when Olimar went missing he sent Louie off to transport a cargo of golden brand Pikpik carrots and on the way there a ravenous space rabbit ate the whole batch(not really,that wasLouie's excuse,he ate them.) and that caused Hocotate to go into debt.After Olimar returned to Hocotate with the treasure and Hocotate learns there is still more treasure he goes with Olimar to retrieve the rest of the treasure and hopefully find Louie.
