Since I read over the Kigatsuyoi Character Rules, I should wait until my character is approved before posting. But here is my first post;
"For never was there a tale of more woe, than this of Juliet, and her Romeo," F-11 read to himself. The fox-experiment sat cross-legged with a thick volume perched between his knees. He gave out a deep sigh as he closed the book, "True poetry," he said in a slight-british accent, "and yet, no matter how many times I read it, I always get emotional," he added as he got to his feet to place the book in its proper home on the shelf, "Could such a tragic story ever have happened?" he wondered alloud as he walked back to the "Fine Arts" section, "Is the world above so beautiful, and yet so sad as well?" F-11 asked, glancing down at the old tome. He ran his fingers down the withering spine and twitched his tail methodically, "I guess I'll know when the time is right," he concluded, reaching up to put the book back where it belonged before turning abruptly and heading for the library's exit.
As he started walking down the hall, he began thinking again: about the world, the other experiments, and his purpose. It had been a few days since his last training exercise, and knew it was only a matter of time before the scientists would send for him. Rather than return to his room and wait patiently to be summoned, he took a detour, diverting his route toward the battle simulators.
He opened the door to the barren room and took a deep breath. After entering his code and battle preference, the cold room changed into a forest like terrain, covered with dozens of coniferous trees. It was late fall, and all the leaves were on the ground, making it difficult to stalk his prey. F-11 looked off into the distance and spotted his opponent. He smiled as he realized what simulation lesson he was given: Stealth. Though the young fox loved a good scuffle here and there, it was always nice to return to the basics; timing, precission, strategy. His senses tingled as he realized he was not alone. Figuring his safest bet was off the ground, he flipped up into a pine tree, lightly landing on a sturdy branch with hardly a sound. The man in the distance was still, and the other was nowhere to be seen. After surveying his surroundings, F-11 leapt to another tree, silenting making his way toward the further advesary. As the boy grew closer, he soon noticed that the enemy had not moved, not even an inch. F-11 stopped in a tree about three yards away from his target, "A decoy," he said softly to himself, slapping himself for not picking up on it sooner.
The boy looked around, perking his fox ears up, and swinging his tail as he thought. The opponent couldn't be far. About ten feet away from his tree, F-11 heard a small twig snap in a nearby bush. He grinned, and slyly slipped down the tree and onto the ground. Gently stepping through the leaves, he closed in on the target. The man was perched facing the opposite way, F-11 at his back, which was a big mistake. Picking up a nearby stone, F-11 hurled it over the man to cause a distraction. Sure enough, the opponent lifted his head, and the experiment took his chance. Leaping with elegant form and great precission, he landed on his knees on the man's shoulders, viciously gripping the head and snapping it instantly. As the man's corpse fell to the ground, the simulation ended. F-11 brushed of his clothes, turned of the battle sequence, exitted the room, and made it back to his quarters, a large grin plastered on his face, "New record," he said, lifting his arms to rest his hands behind his golden-red head, swinging his lightly as he walked.
