The Heroin Diaries I am currently reading The Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx, bassist for the hair metal band of the 80's Motley Crue. It's about a year in his drug addicted life. I only got to page 40 so far and I am already amazed by the man that he is. I can't believe he is truly still alive. OD'ing and being tossed in a garbage can in England left for dead. Being techincally dead for about 15mins but the amazing men who responded to the 911 call from him home who deceided not to give up and save his life.... They are true amazing men. I can't wait to finish reading this book. But so far I can tell this is definately a good read. It helps people understand more about how it is for a drug addict. He went through hell. The hell he describes is just... ... just mind blowing so far. I definately recommend this book as a good read. And I truly hope some people out there in the world pick this book up. Especially the ones involved or know people who are currently suffering through a drug addiction.
