diagram of my deck plans this is a diagram i made of my plans for our deck. it's 15 feet by 6 feet.... note: the stairs down to the back yard are not to scale in the drawing. the unlabeled circles are going to be pots of flowers, i don't know what kind yet. it'll depend on what looks good to me and is in my budget when they start selling flats at the nurseries. i also have a small wind chime that's going out there, and we have some nice wide eaves that will hold some hanging planters. i only put two in the diagram - bottom right corner, but i'll have a few more than that. if the image isn't showing up for you, please let me know. thanks. biggrin

	thanks gramma! i'm planning to have a lot of flowers out there, we're hoping to attract butterflies and hummingbirds. biggrin

	lol, then you're sitting there watching me draw on my computer... wink right now i'm just in the planning and material acquisition stage. it's still too early to start planting here, though i'm eager to get started. i'm currently collecting flower pots and planters. i'm also keeping an eye on twincitiesfreemarket.org and craigslist for building materials for the lower garden. the outdoor nurseries won't open up around here for another 2 or 3 weeks, and another 2 weeks after that the flats of annuals will go on sale. by then i should have plenty of pots to put them in. i also need to get a small table and chairs (i'm searching freemarket for those) and i'm planning to buy a chiminea. i have my eye on this one from walmart: i'm trying to save up some money and get it, but it'll be a little while....
