Chapter 1 - The Crusaders
Part 1- The beggining

My name is Xiroko . . . and this is my story, of how I became the last survivor of the Crusaders. The Crusaders are the people who rid this world of the scum there is lurking around every corner. They stalk us with every move we make. They kill us with every crime we break. They soon made a law for the Crusaders, “The Holy Tablet of Josephina”. Josephina was the wonderful woman across the street from me. She smiles and waves at me every time she goes out to get her newspaper.
I wave back only to find that I haven’t forced my self nor thought about waving. It was like an impulse to do so, or, for that matter, a simple urge. She walks back inside with her little shitzu, beaver. She did not name him, she found him as a speck of dust and raise him to be a strong little dog.
It’s amazing what people can make of one another, they can make or break each other. Enough blabbering lets get back to the story line . . . The year is 2013, but this is the year were there will be no more life in Fairfield again. This is my story . . . This is my life . . . and death.
