He's never there I wish he were but he's gone with his new family=( Though I should not worry he will be here soon ...he promised He says he will send a postcard ALL the way from Colorado once again ...he promised He says he'll be off work soon and visit me he says he's so excited and, of coarse ...he promised Well that post card never came, he never showed, and my heart...crushed=( even though ...he promised I should have known how silly of me but now I know not to trust you your promises mean nothing, just simple yet hurtful lies just plain words that mean nothing to you but everything to me though I should not worry I will never hear them again the way you have so willingly I won't let it happen I PROMISE!!! [A special thanks to my Father.....if you didn't suck so much then I would't have earned this award=] i was a finallist in the young southern student writers competition for this poem.
