razz It was a good day today. No problems whatsoever.
Still looking forward to Friday. It's going to be, or at least it's supposed to be, a great day.
Had fun in Geometry today. All we did we go on the computer and do our Carnegie labs. It was quite boring, but we got to talk. That was the best part. I got to chapter 4, I think. Doing better than the sophomores. Isn't it weird for an eighth grader to be better? Probably not because the sophomores have way more other homework than 8th graders do. I have normal eighth classes plus geometry while they have all sophomore classes. They obviously have more work to do after school, while I'm all relaxation.
As for my freshman year, that might turn out to be quite difficult. Having all freshman classes plus Algebra 2. It's supposed to be the hardest year of high school. Adjusting to change and lots of work is a lot of work. And I'm going, or might be going, to this one advanced high school so even harder .
There's termites, snakes, bats, rats, and whatever else, in the school. Yesterday a bat flew into the science room and flew around in the dark while the students were watching a movie.
It was funny. This one boy was running as fast as he could down the hall. On the school's camera, you can see it. The teacher was the first to get to the door. Haha. Bats are better than termites. This school probably attracts animals or something.
History was pretty pointless. At first, we started on our review for the DCA coming up, but then the conversation turned into talking about crack.
See, the teacher said that African Americans get more years in jail for crack than for Americans smoking Mariquana(SP?) It's sorta unfair.
I learned new things. When I first moved here, I'd never even heard about drugs.
Science was the funnest period of all. Alex talks a lot, but it's a good type of friendship. See I don't like the nice touchy kind of friendship. I think friends should joke all they want and have fun with it. We had a lot of arguments, and it all ended with "go eat your mom." Yeah that was said a lot, and so was "shut up." That's good friendship right there.
I almost finished my powerpoint for literature class. It's like the worst powerpoint I've done in my life but whatever. This school doesn't expect much. My old school was so much more strict and they had high expectations.
CTE and Lang. Arts are not worthy of mention.
In in all, today was a good day.
