"Alright sqah, no matter what happends lets save my brother!"
"Right-O!" was his cheerful reply.
So we went down the wooden elevator and started on out way...
As soon as we left the town Sqah asked me,
"So um, when you drank the water from the wellspring, what exactly did you obtain, i mean what ability?"
Sqah was armed and ready to go, he was best with a bow and arrow, but he carried small knives for close quarter encounters. Also his keen eyesight helps him shoot down his targers better. I replied Sqah's question with,
"Not sure, i never really discovered it, so um how do i know when i discovered it?"
I was pretty armed too. I got light but protectful leather armor, still had my cloak and my father's hunting knife along with the sword Keith gave me. Also Keith gave me a vial of the wellspring water, it was suppose to heal our injures but he said to use it for greater wounds and fatal injuries. Sqah's reply to my question was,
"Well, not sure... I think you should know when the time comes. You will recognize the wellspring's ability.
By now we had reached the edge of the forest and the edge of my hometown. I was about to enter the town but Sqah blocked my path with his arm, i was about to complain but then he put his finger over his mouth to silence me. I didn't understand what he was doing at first, but pretty soon i realized that he was studing and surveying the area. I heard him whisper,
"Are those people on horses with swords the raiders?"
i gently replied with,
"yeah, those are the people."
"well there's about five of them, there's one standing post on the east entrance, two raiders on the roofs of houses, one beside the town hall and two over by the west entrance. I think we can take em!"
I agreed with him but, i had to ask him,
"Do we got a plan?"
"Not sure about you Curl, but I do,"

I crawled through the tall grass to sneak up on the gaurd on post. When he turned away from me i suppose to lunge my sword into him, or slice him by a fatal spot, but silently. Sqah was standing neaby in the forest ready to shoot down both raiders on the roofs, he was waiting for me to kill the guard. I sat there waiting. It seemed forever and he still didn't budge. Then he moved and turned around. I ran forward and covered his mouth while assassinating him. Then i heard a sharp zip, then another zip followed with two people moaning in pain. Sqah did his job! I saw him coming through the forest and then we met up at the town hall, here is where they tore down our flag and put up their raider flag.
Sqah looked at the flag then asked me,
"Is that... Wow, that is the Cydonian flag."
It was a whit flag with a green upside down arrow (directional arrow) and a white circle in the middle.
"Cydonian flag? Who's Cydonia?"
"Those guys weren't raiders man, they're knights."
"well i don't care who these guys are, they got my brother so let's go to cydonia!"
"That's west of here and to get there we need to travel the long road."
"Seriously?! The long road?! that thing is 50 miles long! It takes a horse like four hours to travel the long road and it would be double the time if we walk!"
Sqah was relatively calm to my constant yelling and complaining.
"Chill, we did this stuff with master Keith, so basically, it's just another exercise day."
"Yeah, i guess... Let's get moving, we got two more guards over by the start of the long road."
We ran quickly and swiftly over to the west entrance. But when we reached the west entrance the guards weren't there.
"Maybe they're on their coffee break," sqah joked
Then suddenly the guards appeared and had their swords drawn. I automaticly unsheathed my sword and went into a defensive stance. Sqah pulled out a short blade and was ready to strike. The guard asked us,
"Who are you boys?! And put down those weapons! someone could get hurt!"
I replied with,
"Yeah i guess right... You're gonna get hurt!!!"
I luanched forward and leaped at the guard that was talking and striked him in the chest. The other guard in shock and awe was just standing there, then there was a zip, Sqah's knife struck him in the back and the gaurd fell.
"Nice one Sqah!"
"Back at ya!"
I got up and then started our way down the long road, and there was a perfect sunset right infront of us, and our future looked bright.
