Belly flopping through a portal that had opened suddenly beneath him, he lay winded on the metal floor--faintly wondering how he had managed to land without a sound. Hearing someone ask about someone else named Myuu, and asking if someone else named--

Wynn? he wondered. Could it be the same Wynn who traveled with the mistress of my hea--

Feeling a hand clamp on the back of his neck, he lifted his eyebrows in surprise as he was hauled to his feet by a petite woman with white hair and pale blue streaks. Confused by her lack of scent, he nearly missed her question, "Intruder. What are you doing on me?"

"I wasn't on you," he replied. "I was on the floor. You don't look like the floor."

"She is an android," a girl in a wheelchair said. "She is this spaceship's avatar."

"Android?" he asked as the woman set him on his feet. Placing his face in the place where the woman's neck connected to her shoulder, he sniffed a few times before pulling back. "No wonder she has no scent."

Looking about, he was caught off guard by a gold and red dragon locked in place by ice prisons and some sparkly thing floating next to another woman's head. Just on the other side of the girl in a wheel chair, he saw two women laying on a table.

Recognizing the both of them, but concerned for only one, he rushed over to the two and leaned over the table over Shalimar. Stroking the side of her face, he whispered, "Shalimar. Shalimar, my love. Wake up dear."

As the light faded, Dragon dropped to her knees. As blood trickled out around the ice spike, Dragon thought painfully, Holly was right. I can't go into my dragon form in her world. Otherwise, this spike wouldn't be a problem...

Looking about, Dragon saw that it was now late summer--and quite hot. She was outside again, kneeling on the left side of a T-section of a road. Across from her was a diesel gas station called Conco. Glancing over her shoulder, Dragon saw normal gas station called BB's was at the far end of someone's block. Across the road, there were several pine trees shimmering in the heat.

Struggling to her feet, Dragon heard an approaching car. Turning to look at it, Dragon saw a bright red 1991 Hyundai Scoupe approaching. Behind the wheel was a seventeen year old Holly. Taking a step towards her, Dragon grimaced as her hips unexpectedly exploded with pain. Dropping to her knees, Dragon watched helplessly as Holly approached the three-way and came to a stop.

"Feelin' alright there?" Myuu asked, appearing behind Holly's car. "Looking a bit in pain there, dahhling."

"Screw you," Dragon growled. "I've been through worse."

"Has any of it been when you have access to all your powers, but unable to go into dragon form?" Myuu taunted, grabbing Holly's bumper.

Staggering to her feet, and doing her best to ignore the mysterious pain in her hips and the pain radiating from her chest, Dragon took a defensive pose. "I hear you're too afraid to take on my family. Apparently, the only way you feel like you can take us on is to attack a helpless human."

As Holly's car engine revved as she tried to pull out into the cross section, Myuu scowled. A few seconds later, she released Holly's bumper. "See you in hell, Dragon."

As Myuu disappeared, Dragon glanced around at Holly's car. Stupidly, Dragon saw Holly hit the brakes. From the corner of her eye, Dragon saw a car approaching from the driver's side of the car--just fast enough that Dragon knew that Holly would be killed without a proper cushioning effect.

Staggering forward, Dragon somehow managed to place herself between the two cars. Summing her mana, Dragon encased herself in a block of ice and squeezed her eyes shut. A split second later, there was a squeal of brakes followed by the other car hitting Dragon in her block of ice. [+2]

As the ice spike in her chest was thrown loose and the white light encased her again, Dragon thought, Please let that be his last attempt on her...I don't think I can take another hit like this...

As the light faded, Dragon saw she was back on the Nerissa Altsoba. As she opened her mouth to say something witty, Dragon suddenly coughed up blood and blacked out. [+3]
