I have things on my mind that I want to do like talk to my best friend in the woods. I haven't told anybody about him cause if I do they'll think he's a spy or an enemy. He's really nice and he talks to me about his life as a peasant. I don't know his name though and he doesn't know mine. I know he's a guy because of his low voice. I doubt he lives in the woods cause where my family and I live which is a cottage, peasants live their too. I don't know how he looks like since he never comes out of the tree's shadow. He gave me a daisy the second day we talked. I found it when I walked pasted the woods. It was lying on a rock, just sitting their. I knew it was from him, I couldn't explain the sense but I knew. I think my sister knows about him since I’ve seen her at the woods (where I talk to him) looking behind trees and calling out,” are you there?” I thought about telling her but she’ll find out herself. I must worn him about her snooping but I don’t know how I thought about leaving him a note but what if he can’t read……… (in the old days some people could read)
I went to the woods today and he wasn’t their. I called out to him, well I actually called out “are you there” but when I called he didn’t answer. I called out again to make sure he might of not heard me but still no answer. I sat on a rock (the rock where I found the daisy.) Well any who I sat their and waited thinking he might be late. I waited like 30 minutes and he still didn’t show up. I looked up at the sky and it was getting late. I got up and left but before I did I looked back and whispered “sorry but I have to go now.” I went back to the cottage and over heard some peasants saying that a lord from a different country ordered all his knights to fight a battle that wasn’t worth fighting, oh and they talked
about this knight who they say was handsome and had spiky black hair. I went to the woods today and he wasn’t their.
