Anyway, here are some pictures that I drew of two of my main characters.
No name has been created yet. I'm leaning toward Angelica or Dylin, but I probably won't pick either. She is summoned only for death of nature: the fall. It tears her apart that she does this, because faries are the closest beings to nature, and she hears their pleads for life...
Notice that her eyes are covered... her gaze kills.
After I finished, it reminded me a lot of my friend Sara. Not just because of the red hair, but also the indecision and tears. Sara isn't as mature though.
Her dress? Well, as you can see, she can come out of the very trees that she kills. The bottom of her dress kind of molds together with any piece of nature. The dress represents the mixed feelings she has about her job, how she knows that because of this there will one day be spring, but also hates causing the death.
This is a fairy that also controls death, but instead, death of small beings, such as many animals. She's a child at mind, and a very happy one at that. She doesn't realize that she's killing things even though toxins ooze from her in a gas and any animal she touches dies. She has a "dead" skin color and bags under her eyes. I want to name her Tiffany (not because of Tiffy ^^ wink or Kelly, but neither of the names really fit. :/
I don't know why her head looks so small; it didn't look like that in my sketchbook. It's supposed to be smudged though, to represent the toxins.
I love her feet. <3 I don't know why I drew them like that; I just did.
Her wings have holes in them, so she can't fly. There's a story behind that, discovered later in the novel. I love the wings though, I think they're beautiful.
