so she would do anything for a little cash. She got into so much of trouble and slept around, she had a bad reputation and everyone knew her name in town. She spent most of her time worrying about pregnancy and getting into fights, until one day when she realized it just wasn't right. She didn't want to live her life this way, hurting her family and crying her eyes out each and every day. She decided to change her life around, she told herself,'people are gonna know me as the new girl in town.' She found a new set of friends and became known as the popular kid, but there were still times when she still thought of all the embarrassing things she did. Just when she thought her life was going great she had to move out of town, but, she figured this was the perfect opportunity to start over and change her life around. A year later, she met the love of her life & in her heart she knew he was the one, he made her feel wanted and she knew he truly loved her no matter what she had done. They talked about getting married and starting a family of their own, she knew ever since the first day they met, she would never again be alone. They were so perfect for one another & they enjoyed being together, they thought in their hearts it would last forever. But two months later she tested HIV, it seemed so unbelievable and she just kept thinking,'this can't be happening to me. She told her boyfriend and later on he tested HIV too, there was nothing she could do now, all she could say was,
"baby, I'm rry I can't believe I gave it to you." But the loveeeeeead for her was real and he stayed by her side, and a year later he died. She tried putting it past her, but she just kept thinking of how
the mistakes she had made when she was younger took the life of another, that's when she realized that the dreams she had shared with the one she loved
would never come true, so she killed herself & took a daughter away from a mother. I wrote this poem to send a message out to all the teenagers out here, just because you think everyone's doing it doesn't mean you have to spend the rest of your life in fear!
