cuz i can?
whatever i feel like putting down.
People
I've been thinking about people in general. Like how they can one minute be so happy and kind, and then immediately turn around and make fun of someone and be cruel. What drives people to do the things like these? And the human drive for money and overall stuff (may it be material possessions or reputation) causes them to behave inhumanely and take advantage of people that are less fortunate than them. But also their ability to gripe and complain, and then turn around and help someone in need. How can we go down completely different roads, yet still trace our paths back to humanity?

    The fact is, we cannot. We are cursed by greed, we are cursed by lust. It is all a test of faith, and we need to repent for what we did.

    There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

    Luk 18:3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

    Luk 18:4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;

    Luk 18:5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

    Luk 18:6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.

    Luk 18:7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

    Luk 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

    Luk 18:9 ΒΆ And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

    Luk 18:10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.

    Luk 18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men [are], extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

    Luk 18:12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

    Luk 18:13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as [his] eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

    Luk 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified [rather] than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

    thank for equal seriousness and depth.
    i understand what you are saying, but my question is still unanswered. (and i dont know if there is an answer) what common tie do we all share that we are content to be with someone who completely defies our moral boundaries and complain about something else that is superfluous?
