Okay so today I am going to post some of this story that I am writing. WOOT!
It doesn't have a title yet so don't judge me and if you read this please leave comments!
P.S. I don't break my paragraphs. Sorry! but it makes it way easier to write/type if I can just keep going with out paragraph breaks.
PROLOGUE
Safety is a matter of opinion. I can feel completely at ease by his side while others would so easily feel complete terror at his mere presence. He is so strong and confident, nothing like any man I have ever met before. Can I really be blamed for wanting more than a "comfortable, safe" life partner to have dozens of children and grow fat with? I have this growing fear that begins at the base of my ears and seeps through my entire brain filling me with dread. I am so, so horrified that I will live an unsatisfactory life, you know, a life filled with menial tasks and completely repetitive daily routines including driving a "Soccer Mom" van. Not that I have any problems with soccer moms in general mind you, I just don't want that to be my lifestyle. Thank goodness for him. I saw his ad on the bulletin board in the main rotunda by the library entrance. The ad itself was not at all striking, normal color, font and all that, but the wording struck a chord with me as I stoood there waiting for my newest roomate to arrive. "How blunt can you get?," I was muttering to myself when the brand new blonde little squirtsnuck up behind me in her perky little plaid pumps and covered my eyes with her perfectly lotioned, manicured hands. "Guess who?" "I'm hoping it is my new roomate Mindy." "Correctomundo, chica," she thankfully removed her hands but of course put her head on my shoulder to see the board. "Whatcha looking at bambina?" "An ad, I was thinking I ought to get a job so that I can pay a larger cut of our rent. I don't want to gain a reputation for putting my brand new roommate in the red during her first semester of the college experience." "Danke schon. That is so kind of you," she lifted her head and moved beside me, "Now let's see here. 'Secretary needed. Good pay. No previous experience neccesary. See History Department for more information.' Well that's blunt." " Yeah that's what I said." "Seems a little bit shady if you ask me. No description of the employer or the job's requirements. Are you seriously thinking of taking it?" I shook my head to stymie her complaints, "Oh, I don't know," I said as I turned to her. "Make sure you are sure before you inquire about it. It just seems really odd." She grabbed her things and we started walking back toward the entrance, "Okay I got it. Now the apartment is just a couple streets over so I will lead in my car and you can follow me there."
End of Prologue. So....what do you all think? *silence...crickets chirrup* Haha. I know no one reads this but I can still do it. So hopefully tomorrow or Friday I will start typing Chapter 1, but it is pretty long so it will probably be spread through a couple entries.
