Try to read this quickly; it's kind of hard to grasp in general, but the meter is much better if read quickly.
Warning: This is by far one of the worst things I've written. One, I tried to make it rhyme. Two, I'm having severe writers block. And three, this was mainly just to get creative juices flowing.
Why am I posting this then? Because if my worst is at least decent then maybe I still have hope. :/


Memory Left

I’ve denied all prospects of living,
I’m starting it anew.
I’ve died inside but I’ll still go on,
just know it’s because of you.

Every stone’s been turned,
the leaves blown by the storm.
My emotion brews; I’m sick of you,
you’re that rose with the poisonous thorn.

I’ll leave nothing in my quest,
no staple nor speck of glue.
Don’t you see now; can you hear me yell,
I’m plainly sick of you.

The tears I’ve lost aren’t found,
I’m telling you the fact.
You better go hide, you’re what’s left,
I’d suggest running fast.

I’ve tried to overlook,
but I’ll tell the truth right here.
I’m listening to your footsteps,
they’re pounding in my ears.

I hear your frantic running,
and your screaming makes me smile.
Call me insane, call me a b***h,
you’re going into exile.

I’ve dodged it now, smiling now,
only you have crossed that line.
Now look at me, you threatened me,
I hear your family crying.

Your blood is sour on my lips,
all that’s left is your shell.
If I remember when I wake up,
I’m following you to hell.
