Family Disasters

They can easily rip you apart from the inside out.
Eating you hollow until there is nothing left..
You hate the people that at one time you would give your life for..
Its all over and done.. Suffering has taken place of comfort..
The only time you feel safe is when your away from them.
Its quite odd.. you thought that you could never love and hate someone,
So much both at the same time..
Mother devorced Father and you didn;t find out until months after.
Years later we slowly begin to understand what is really happening..
The family is slowly being ripped apart at the seems..
I imagine something like a small defensless Teddy bear being pulled apart,
By its small soft limbs. It slowly suffers and finally falls apart for good.
It can easily be fixed.. but only by new string.
One problem.. you cant afford new thread.. your screwed..
Stuck with a ripped up teddy bear for the rest of your life..
Or at least until you get more thread from a near by Wal-mart.
Is it just me or do divorced parents sound like they still love eachother..
But never show it infront of their children?
Most divorced parents dont realize that they are causing their children pain.
Kids having to watch the ones who brought them into this world fight..
Is the worst thing that can happen.. this affects them in a huge way..
They dont forget these things.. emotionally scarred forever..
Even though it may not show.. its there.. and it hurts..
Another way a family can be affected is by a loss...
Sometimes children dont recover from the horror of losing a loved one..
Sometimes.. parents are scarred after losing a child..
Love is a powerful weapon.. used in so many ways..
To help and to harm.. the two most common..
-this was just a rant that i did cuz i was bored..
