My Trip to Tokyo
When i waz seven people!!

It was a hot November day at our gated community pool. The hot sun, was blazing down on me as I took another lap around the pool. My mom, Arrenia, a smart bank worker, was at our big house in Cottonwood, California. When my annoying brother and I got how my, mom told us the exciting news about here getting a job interview to work for Bank of Tokyo.

“You got a job interview in Tokyo to work for Bank of Tokyo and your not taking us,” my brother laugh. “Never mind, it’s fine. Who is watching us?”

“Yes, but I’m not leaving my children here,” she told my brother. Later that night she told Bob, a good friend that is going to Tokyo that she is no eligible to come.

In the morning, Bob showed up at our door with a surprise. Three shiny plane tickets to Tokyo, that night at seven o’clock. We got packed and ready to go and went to the airport. It was going to take fourteen hours to get there. We slept over night on the plane. In the morning, we got up and ate and then at nine am we were in a crowded, but beautiful place, I call Tokyo!

When we got there we went to the fanciest hotel in Tokyo! The Tokyo Omino, which was real tall. We were on the fifty-seventh floor. After we un-packed, we went to see what was on our agenda.

When ever we travel we get to take first class trains. So one hot day we went to the Tokyo Tower. We like to call it Godzilla Tower, because on the first level there was a Godzilla set up.

Another day, Tommy did not want to go out and explore Tokyo. He rather sit down and relaxes after a long day in Japan.

“Tommy come on. We are in Tokyo and you just want to sit here! Let’s go Bob is down in lobby. You can relax when we get home. So much Tokyo to see. Know let’s go!!!” I yelled at my brother in a very high pitched voice.

After my brother got up Bob took us to see the golden statue, about thirty feet tall of the Bota, on the other side of town. You were aloud to make a wish then if you wanted you could explore inside the Bota.

Than night we went to have dinner and then Bob want to show us something real cool. It was a six story toy store! There was everything from Christmas decoration to fancy Japanese wound up boxes. So many wonderful things in Tokyo and really nothing to do back home.

On one of the last night we were there we went to dinner with the owners of Bank of Tokyo. They insisted that we would let them buy us each a plate of meat that was a thousand dollars per plate. So with no acceptation from my mom they bought us each a plate of meat.

The next day it was time to leave Tokyo. Bob came to the Hotel and picked us up. When he got there my mom and brother took the elevator down and I took the stairs. I wanted time to think. I want to think how happy I was and how Tokyo was so perfect. One thing I could not think of was how Tokyo was so different. I wanted to know before we left. When we arrived to the airport I hugged Bob and said bye. As we walked through security I suddenly stopped holding up the line.

“Mom.” I whispered.

“Yes, what is it?” She added.

“Will you take the job here in Tokyo? I don’t not really want to leave,” I asked her in a soft voice.

“No, honey. It is to far from home and I do not want to have to move again, away from all of our friends and family,” She said in an understanding voice.

Well then will you promise that some day we will come back to this beautiful place I call Tokyo,” I asked as I stared at here.

“Maybe someday honey. For know lets go home. Come through security. You are holding up the line.” She replied.

I walk through security as I realized why Tokyo was so different. It was because I just loved the location and how it was such a different culture. Then it hit me that it does not madder were you are you just need to be with the people you love. On the one week trip I learned so much. I learned Japanese way of life. Must important though was that to be happy with life and to be thankful for what you have.
