It was early so Gale decided to make breakfast again. Cid was excited. "Gale's food two mornings in a row! This week is going great!" Gale kept shaking his head. Xoutan silently watched Gale as he cooked. Xoutan's eyes widened as Gale sat a large chunk of cooked meat in his bowl. Xoutan jumped up and down a few times and began to nibble on it. Gale smiled and went back to cooking. Lenn and Hanna woke up and walked into the kitchen. "Taking the day off AGAIN?!" Gale rolled his eyes. "We have plenty of money for now.... Besides the hunts are low right now... and the pay is even worse...." Gale pointed to the one he had last read and sat on the counter. "Thats the one paying the most out of twenty...." Lenn picked it up and sighed. "Must be because of the Disappearance Hunt." Gale shook his head. "Completed it....." She looked confused. "Then where is the money?" "I didn't accept any." Lenn was angered at this. "AND WHY NOT?!" Gale sighed. "The girls died.... I couldn't rightfully take money that I didn't earn. The messages requested return of their daughters. I failed to complete that part." Lenn shook her head. "You disappoint me...." Gale spun around to face her. "Shut up.... You disgust me.... I took you and your daughter in out of kindness. I ask little of you in return and yet you give me criticism for my every action. The day you put your life at risk and watch your family's lives be at risk... that is the day you can begin to talk like that." She turned around and left the kitchen while he simply turned back and started cooking again. Hanna stood next to Gale. "You two fight alot...." "Yeah..." She laughed. "I think its funny..." She cheerfully walked out of the kitchen and joined the others at the table. They waited until Gale finished cooking. Lenn didn't show up to eat and Gale didn't bother to leave her a plate. Other than Cid's constant compliments on the food they were all silent. Xoutan sat next to Gale and looked at the diffrent faces. Gale sighed and went to his room after he was finished eating. He and Xoutan sat in bed for most of the day staring at the ceiling.
