There's no reason to fear the reaper

And there was his rose
In an Anchorage high
where the bodies do lie
There was a shining red parcel
in the hand of the marshall
He cried out at sea

In the Garrish black night
there arose the fright
when the glimmering lighthouse
called louses
to their fall

But on this Marshall's white ship
one hand on his hip
days had gone longing
a sweet thing
for his romance

His chagrin was thin
as he sought to win
her courage by morning
and love by the moon waning
a man lives to dream

This nameless Don Juan
lusted for noone
more than the lady
dressed gayly
in sanguine
(With a burgundy grin)

Her rosy pale cheeks
had haunted his weeks
as he rocked in the
cradle mother ocean
provided, fair green
were her eyes.

but black were his hopes
when the ship smashed
upon the sable slopes

Only one vestage shone,
it was one of his own,
born bravely on the waves up to her fair feet
There was his rose,
Violet, Red, Romantic, Neat.
