Oh dang, I forgot wat I wuz gonna say crying

What about...

As the fiery light of the late sunset faded from the sky, turning the world a burning red-orange for one, glorious moment, then to blackness, Kristle_03 sat, blinking in the sudden dark, on her sofa. The light of her laptop had burnt a blazing white rectangular imprint upon her eyes, which slowly faded away as she got used to the blackness.

A PM from her friend, "ginniecatt" had appeared. Kristle_03 wondered what it was about, ginniecatt's bed time was at 8:00, and it was 9:00 already. "In the Blackness I will Find You", it was titled. The letters were in an ominous bloody red font. Suddenly, Kristle_03 heard a creaking noise, as if someone were creeping towards her over the un-dusted floor. Her house was an old one, probably from the mid 1800s. Kristle_03 felt a shiver run down her spine and a feeling of dread seemed to spread from her chest, slowly consuming her entire body.

Trying to peer into the darkness, Kristle_03 could see nothing. She turned her head slowly back to her computer, resisting the urge to hide behind the couch. I'm being silly, I probably just imagined the creaking, she told herself. But she didn't believe it. She opened the PM slowly, uncosiously holding the mouse button so it would not make as much sound when she released it. She lifted her finger, and at that exact moment, a terrible creak came from about a meter away. Kristle_03 froze, thinking of all the terrible things that could be creeping nearer. Another chill went down her spine, filling up her body with molten fear, her breath catching in her throat.
Her eyes unconsiously flickered back to the PM.
"Hi!",
a little speech bubble coming from ginniecatt's mouth said. Another agonizingly close creak sounded, now less than a couple feet away. Slowly, a form crept into view. "Bubbles!" Kristle_03 whispered. It was her cat.
