my boyfriend got injured... yesterday my sweetie was with his mom at a furniture store to pick up a chest of drawers she bought and they had to go around to the loading dock to get it. as he was getting it off the dock he slipped on some ice and landed flat on his back and the chest of drawers landed on him. his arm was bleeding pretty bad and they thought it was broken so they hauled him off to the hospital to have him checked out. it turned out not to be broken but he did need a couple of stitches.... ~sigh~ i KNOW it hurts, i'm certain it's painful (i'm a bit of a tomboy and have experienced injuries myself)... but in the grand tradition of men everywhere he's being a bit of a baby about it. i'll be playing nursemaid and trying to keep him drugged and happy for the next few days. i thought dudes were supposed to be tough.....

	Snuffs give him a rum soaked candy cane every 5 mins. he'll be happy. ;p..btw, Where did ya ever hear a thing like that, ..."dudes were supposed to be tough" hahahah um.. that's why WE have the babies.. I think male machoness is pretty out the window along with other folk tales. ;p 4laugh lol cool blaugh heart ..the good thing is all in all the bloke didn't break anything.. is he whining too? Honey, can you get me this, honey can you get me that, oh I don't feel good. yah, no one does that for us while we are spread eagle with about five diff heads staring into our hoohahs in childbirth..and one trying to pop out LOL eek xp

	Oh dear, I am so sorry to hear that he was injured, but I am happy to hear that it wasn't horribly serious. Not that stitches aren't serious, but at least it isn't broken. Has he talked to the store about their unsafe conditions? I've often found that men are complete children when it comes to being hurt or sick, but only around their wives and moms. To everyone else they put up a very bravado front. lol!

	Awww poor baby. Hope he will be ok. I know what you mean, guys are rough and tough til they get sick or hurt then it's like 'I can't get the remote" and it's right in front of them...Bless them anyways...can't live with them, can't live without them.

	yeah there's been some whining but that's tapered off a bit now.... i'm not sure if his mom gave the store an earful yet or not (she's really gifted at that) but i do know that any medical bills are going to get sent to them. you hit it right on about it only being around their wives and moms may...his buddy chuck came over to help me out and do the sidewalk and he was just fine while chuck was here but after he left he was back to whimpering and groaning. lol... can't live without them? oh i dunno....sometimes i think i could manage just fine without them. ~sighs again~ i'm sure he'll be recovered in no time, it's just his timing is sooo freaking bad right now. lol, unlikely will... he doesn't need to hurt himself to get attention from me. (at least i hope he knows that.)
