it's official! we're moving! yay! i heard the inspection went well, there was only a couple of minor things that needed fixing but the seller agreed to fix them so it's a done deal. we've all sent off our letters to the management company telling them we're leaving and moving box acquisition has begun. biggrin i don't have to start packing for a few weeks but it's never to early to start stockpiling boxes....
moving shouldn't be too difficult this time around, i thinned out a lot of my stuff before i moved to this apartment from my old one last year. i had been living in the old apartment for about 12 years and when this one became available i moved upstairs to it but before i did i gave most of my stuff to goodwill. i had acquired a lot of things in 12 years and didn't have room for most of it anymore so my closet was stuffed. i decided to donate it. the really cool thing about that is i don't have a ton of stuff to move this time. i'll also be able to get the boxes i have stored at my moms place out of there, mostly my christmas stuff (she'll be happy about that).
my friend mike isn't going to get off so lucky i think, he's been in his apartment for 11 years and is pretty firmly entrenched in there. amber (his fiance) however has very little to move due to a fire in her apartment last year that wrecked all her stuff and we have some friends with strong backs who are going to come and help on moving day (all we gotta do is feed them).
i will admit i'm gonna miss the view from this apartment but i think it'll be worth it in the end.

i didn't take a lot of pictures because my camera was being goofy that day but as soon as i'm able i'll try to post some better ones.....
