Gah! It's been over half a year since I've updated this thing. o_O; Goes to show how out of the loop I am.

I doubt many people actually read this, but for those who do, here's what I've been up to.

-Stressing Out

I have a pretty decent job at the moment, albeit a tad bit on the unstable side. It's unfortunately not art-related, but I am able to learn new stuff and be somewhat creative. Art-wise, I've been a bit too pre-occupied with life to draw much, although I am working on updating my website's layout with full blown CSS.

I have so much I want to do. So little time.

But! Most importantly, I just wanted to get word out on something I've been stressing out with working hard on for the part few months:

I'd like to introduce Monkey Ame. It's a group of 7 girls I met through a workshop here in Hawaii. They're all great local animesque artists - some of whom are known online (at least to some Gaia folk in the Art Arena). Along with the head advisor, we've gathered them to do an gallery showing at our local Borders Books & Music at Ward Center for the month of June.

The girls, ranging from mid-highschool to early college, were the featured story for Midweek - the Weekend June 10th edition. They were also the Honolulu Star Bulletin - Jason Yadao's first story for his new column "Cel Shaded". Our final highlight of the month is an artist sitting on Saturday, June 25th at Borders from 3-4pm where the girls'll meet and greet any visitors who come by.

If you're wondering, I'm a guest artist at the show, so 3 of my original pieces (2 are old) are up on display. One of which I'll be updating to my website sometime soon (I hope!).

Wah! Can't wait for this month to be over. Then I can start working on my own personal projects again.
