What is love?
Perhaps it's a game.
Never existing til someone came.
Into a life
Stepping through a door
Now they finally have someone to adore.
Is there really such thing as true love as they say?
Like in Romeo and Juliet. Remember that play?
Two lovers dying for one another
When they could have just found some other.
I'm sick of this s**t
This true love bull crap.
When all it is is a silly trap.
To have companionship and someone there
Until after a while they just don't care.
Everyone believes
They are in love.
Feeling like they are flying
High as a dove.
They decide to get married
A true commitment with vows
Swearing never to fight or divorce to arouse.
Five years later they are at each others throats
What ever happened to the wedding and those quotes?!
It's gone it vanished the memory is dead.
No longer even sleeping in the same bed.
The children, they cry when mom and dad fight.
Dealing with screaming every single night.
Whatever happened to the happy ever after?
It vanished with the smiles and uncontrollable laughter.
A divorce quickly cures the rage and sadness.
But now the children are dealing with madness.
One week here one week there.
This is never ever fair.
Maybe people should look at their lives
Are they really in love with their soon to be wives?
Start looking at love and future too.
Maybe divorces will start to become few.
