Issac and his friends, Kaos and Mia stopped in the next town. They were back where they started from: in a town with no idea where to head next, unknown that their true objective lies near them. "So dull...", said Kaos. "I'm beginning to beg for a chance to go back to that cave and carry those chests back here."

"The only thing that'll give you is a sore back.", said Mia. She was now holding onto her stuffed neko-chan plushie. Ever since the two boys found out her little habit, she began to feel better about carrying the stuffed toy in public.

"Princess, honestly for your sake, I hope you put that thing away.", said Kaos in slight disgust.

"Why? It hasn't done anything to you.", she retorted.

"fine fine if you must. but now that I think about it. we should probably change identities."

"What? why's that?", asked Issac.

"The enemies probably might know who we are, especially since we're a band of a thief, princess, and mage hunting them. They haven't learned our names...but they'll know hers." He pointed at Mia.

"What?!" she exclaimed.

"He has a point...you're a princess...a celebrity to the other people, and prime target to this organization plotting against the nation.", said Issac.

"Well...I guess I'm gonna have to go by a different name."

"forget the name.", said Kaos. "It's too late here anyway," He pointed to the statue of King Alex and Mia behind them.

"You should probably hide your face with that cloak of yours."

"Yeah I guess.", she replied putting her hood up. It actually helped for them while they stayed in that small town of Serenity. Like it's name, the people staying there seemed at peace...sort of. According to the news, there have been reports of creatures lurking the borders of the forest that surrounded the Ruins to the north slaying all that came near it. It seemed suspicious to them. They entered a tavern where already a crazed, young man started babbling about his adventure there.

"I saw it!!!", he screamed. "Terrible, terrible eyes!!! Such horrifying monstrosities!! Wolves as large as cows, creatures with terrible fangs, the undead writhing at your flesh trying to bite you down!!!!"

"Ah shut up!", said the bartender. "besides, if what you say is true, how'd you come back?"

"I took shelter in the very ruins.", he replied. "Then I ran out of there in fear because of what I saw."

"aye...what did you see you raving lunatic?"

"I saw what looked like a bright red glow...it seemed flash after every 5 seconds. then a shadow figure moved, bearing a bright sword!! I ran for my life..."

"BAH! Hogwash..."

Issac and the others sat down with the young man's story in their minds as he was booed off the stage and taunted.

"You don't think he might've been telling the truth?", asked Issac.

"Please," , replied Kaos. "The guy's obviously been hitting the opium for too long."

"You took drugs?", asked Mia wide-eyed.

"No.", said Kaos. "but I knew enough people who took it to know it was a bad idea."

"Still," started Issac. "It sounds like our scenario with the meteor cave. A bright red light emanated from the giant red crystal fragment."

"Now that you mention it it does...", said Kaos.

"Should we Investigate it?", asked Mia.

"we probably should.", answered Issac.

The group left, unknown that a fourth person overheard their plans as well.

"Finally...3 more people who have their suspicions as well as I."
