We can't know the horrors we've never heard
Or never known or never seen.
We can't understand
Just how impossible something is,
When we don't know what it is.
We can't just give up
Something when
We don't know we can't outrun it,
We don't know we won't win
If we've never been
Educated on the subject.
We can't understand that force
of which others so fear,
When we don't understand why they are afraid.
Is that not to say,
that now today
We assume because we understand?
