Mia and Issac were led down to a small chamber. 3 People were already there. One was a man wearing a silver armor trimmed with gold with short hair and a grim expression on his face. Another also wore the same armor, but the guy seemed younger, at least 18, with long cropped hair. The last was a woman. She wore the same armor as the last 2 and her blond hair was tied up into a ponytail. "Kaos...who are these people?", asked the elder male. "These people came from the country's capital," replied Kaos. "Apparently on a reconnaissance mission or so." I--Princess Mia?"

One look at her instantly made the three people bow down in respect. Obviously, these people knew loyalty and one's place. "I wouldn't expect the king to send his own daughter on a mission." He exclaimed.

"Don't worry I'm well protected by Issac here.", she replied.

"Issac. Nice to meet you." He said shaking the boy's hand. "This young man next to me is Artix. She is Alouette, and I am Tatsu. We are the commanders of the 3 platoons guarding the town."

"seems like theres gonna be an attack here." Remarked Issac.

"That's exactly what it seems like." he replied. "we have information that there will be an attack on this town. We don't know when but we have to be prepared at the fight to come."

"speaking of Information," Started Mia. "What happened to the Intelligence forces, and the mages surrounding the borders of the country?"

It was Allouette's chance to respond. "To be honest we don't know. The last report sent in by either one of them stated that a neighboring country was preparing for a war."

"And so based on that information, we've prepared ourselves for the future, starting with this town." said Artix.

"If the enemy takes hold of this area, he or she will be able to rally their troops for an easy march towards the castle." said Tatsu.

"Then we're going to have to move fast." said Issac. "However if the enemy DOES attack today or tonight, It could be a blessing in disguise."

"What? How so?" asked Mia

"The enemy commander controlling his or her troops will obviously be part of the battle." he explained. If we can capture him or her, we'll know a little bit more about who we're dealing with."

"Smart plan, but just by waiting for them to attack won't help us." said Tatsu. "We'll have to be victorious in this battle, and succeed in getting information out of our adversaries."

"One can only hope..." said Alouette.

Later that night...

The dark armored man walked out to the bow of the airship. Out amongst the plains were small specks of light. Obviously a certain town. feh...I was hoping to slaughter someone about now, he thought. "Prepare for our decent!!!!", he bellowed. "Yes sir!!!" replied the crewmen. Below deck, Dark armored warriors began to feel a slight excitement. Too long since their last kill, they began licking their lips in anticipation. As did the horrifying creatures behind them. The airship appearing out of the night sky petrified every dweller of the village. They began fleeing into the military shelters. Mia, Kaos, and Issac exited from the inn staring at the behemoth. "All right," said Issac. "Its game time."

"Release the dropships!!!!, Bellowed the Dark knight. The hull of the airship opened releasing multiple capsules that crashed into the town streets. The war had begun.
