michelle if i'm not trying then what am i doing?

i work hard, and watch as you scold me for being lazy.

i want to make you smile, but only see your tears.

i no longer want to fight for our relationship, but no one wants to accept us.

i want to be perfect, but humans make mistakes.

i want to show you i'm trying, but you never watch when i'm successful, only when i fail.

i want to tell you "i love you", but you never listen to me.

so tell me this michelle, who's really "not trying"?

the one that wants everything for the one they love...

or the one that says that the one they claim to love isn't good enough...
