"Alright, so everyone got it?" I looked into the eyes of my small army, but htought we had a chance. They all had hope and strengh, I could see it, and they showed it well.
My plan was simple, but not too simple. We basicly relied on Pepsi to be a distraction sense she was trusted well enough. Then, we would sneak into His palace and take out as many guards as there were, hopefully before they call for help. Then, once we have taken out more then half the guards, we would go for Him. Once He has no guards, He should be defenceless, right? I mean all dictators were only strong because of there power to rule over others. We would attack tommorrow, at night. Then it would be dark and it will be more difficult to see us.
"Excellent! In two days we will have our freedom back!" Pepsi said with huge enthusiam as the crowd rored with cheers.
"But sister, are you not at all worried? What would happen if you get taken as a hostage? I do not want to lose you!" Jintei held his sister with only the love a big brother could have for his sister.
"But what about all we can receive? What about our freedom?" Pepsi couldn't understand why her brother was so worried when she wasn't.
"Don't you get it Pepsi? Freedom is worth nothing to me if you aren't there to enjoy it with me!" Jintei sighed.
"But I have the safest job. I have no fighting what so ever! If anything would happen to someone, it would be someone on the battlefield! Brother, I'm more worried about your safety, so don't worry about mine!" Pepsi smiled at her brother. "Cheer up, we need you to be strong brother."
"I will be strong, but I need you to be safe! Promise me you will! Because if you brake your promise and die, I'll be upset!" Jintei smiled back at his sister, and nudged her playfully.
"I wouldn't want that to happen! Not when we are finally going to be free too!" Pepsi looked up at me. "She's finally going to live up to her legend brother, can you beleive it?"
Jintei nodded. "Now then, off to bed with you sister. You need your rest, for tommorrow, we will get our freedom!" Jintei shoved her in the direction of the bedrooms. "Alright, now then troops, off to your beds! Get some rest, and be ready for battle. Tommorrow might be the last of our days, but the beginning of our freedom!" The troops cheered and ran to the sleeping quarters.
"Jintei, can I have a word with you?" I jumped down from the box they had me stand on.
"Of course Rose, what is it you need?" Jintei asked, determined to help in any way he could.
"I was wondering, what if I'm not ready? What if my plan fails?" I was worried, and I could tell he knew.
"Don't think about that, don't think about any of that. Just beleive in your self, just like we all do." Jintei smiled. "Now, you should get some rest Rose. We all have a big day to look forward to."
~The Night Of The Battle~
"Alright troops, we all know the plan. Now let's go in there and do what we have to do!" Jintei looked at me and I nodded.
Our troops went forward, climbing up the steep mountain, praying we all make it to the palace at the top before we get spotted. So far, everything was going as planned. Pepsi was acting like His number one agent and makeing sure He was distracted. I thought the rest of the night would be this easy, but I was wrong. But at that moment, I didn't know how wrong I was.
I don't know what went wrong, but everything flashed before my eyes too quickly for me to comprhend. When the huge clanking suits of aromor came out, it seemed like a dream. And when everyone rushed ahead of me and started battleing I thought it was a nightmare. The noice, the screams, and all the blood. I watched as the people who were laughing just the other night with me, were know dropping to the ground covered in blood.
"This can't be happening! I won't let it happen!" I don't know what hit me, but the next moment I was screaming and running at some armor with a stick. I know it wouldn't do anything, but at my state of rage, I didn't know anything. I thought it all wasn't real. I thought I would wake up, and this would all be forgotten. Then it hit me, it hit me the moment I saw a sword go straight threw Jintei.
"Jintei! No!" The tears burst threw me. I ran to his side and everything around me didn't matter.
"Let Pepsi enjoy her freedom." Jintei smiled one last time, then he was gone.
