To love is human,
To hate, animal,
To hurt, unthinkable,
Yet we do,
We do the unthinkable!
We hurt one another when we sould help,
We hate one another when we should love.
I want to help,
Not hurt.
I want to love,
Not hate.
And yet,
I do.
I do hate,
But I also love,
I do hurt,
But I also help.
I guess we all do.
So we are human,
Yet animals.
We are the unthinkable lurking in the shadows.
We are beings of mind and body,
As we will always be.
I am a being,
But I am me.
