Unfulfilled Hopes Part 2
As Hannah had just left the NYB to go and look for Jeff she first heads to his house to see if he was there...."Jeff are you there?" she calls out but no reply is heard. "Jeff if your home please open up its me Hannah..." Its still silent as she stands there and she begins to worry. But out of the darkness someone had come out of the house beside and it turns out to be Brad. "Hannah what are you doing here?" Brad ask her as he walks out towards her..."Brad where is Jeff i need to tell him something important" Hannah says as her eyes become watery and she begins to sound as if she had been hurt. "Hannah calm down please and listen to me" he says trying to get her to stop from crying "I talked with Jeff after i saw him walking towards his house instead of going to the NYB...He told me he coldnt go without the one person he actually wanted to be with....i asked him who but didnt want to tell me" Jeff tells Hannah in an attempt to calm her down " I ASKED WHERE IS JEFF BRAD TELL ME WHERE HE IS!!!!" she yells to Brad begginging to cry "Whoa Hannah calm down look all i know is that he said he was going to that persons house to wait for her but thats all i know" Hannah begins to stop crying as she hugs Brad and thanks him for the help which she then runs off back to her house leaving Brad in confusion.
Hannah runs toward her house hoping that she will find Jeff there. But as she reaches her house she notices that nobody is standing there waiting outside and begins to worry if Brad meant that Jeff was thinking of someone other than her. She reaches the stoop of her house and falls to her knees crying uncontrollably. "Does Jeff love someone else....does he only see me as just another girl in his life" Hannah says to herself still crying as she tries to get control over herself. As she weeps into the night she notices that the door of her house is not locked as she goes in and sees someone elses shoes put next to hers. She quietly looks around the living room and kitchen but finds nobody there. Then out of the silence of the house she hears a faint music playing in the back ground. Frightened Hannah panics but as she calms down and notices the song that is playing is has ended and changed to another song. A song in which is something that oly Jeff would play in a specific order whenever they were with eachother. She walks upstairs and across the hallway the light in her room is on and notices a shadow stretching across the floor of the room. She slowly walks towards her room only to hear te song and a faint sound of someone crying. As she approaches she sees Jeff sitting upon her bed listening to the song that he had played the day that they became friends but he changes the song to something that seemed more sad yet lovely in an odd way. As the song plays Hannah leans against the wall standing behind jeff and is plays. ((Click link to hear song)) As the song finishes Hannah slowly gets up and wraps her arms around Jeff. "Hannah...." he says her name and pauses shocked to see that she is here and not at the NYB "w-what are you doing here....i thought you had someone to go with to the NYB" he tells her as he looks down. "Jeff....im sori I said that.....i didnt have anyone to go with to the NYB....i lied to you that day Jeff...Im very sorry about that please forgive me" she tells him as she sits next to him still holding him closely in her arms "Hannah of course i forgive you...i just dont understand why you lied to me that day" he tells her waiting for an answer from Hannah "Jeff....i lied to you because i loved you....but i didnt think that you loved me...and when i saw that girl go up to you and asked you to the Ball i couldnt say yes because i didnt think you'd still want to go with me when you had her......" her grip around Jeff begins to loosen but Jeff holds her hands in place to keep her holding him.
"Hannah you didnt have to lie to me....but im not mad at you for it" he smiles as he holds her hands together "Hannah i love you too...its just i didnt thinkyou'd feel the same about me either..but then the NYB came up so i thought maybe that we could have gone together and i could have told you there about how i really felt about you" he turns around holding her close to him.."Jeff i just dont understand this" she tells him as they sit in front of eachother...." why is that out of all the girls your friends with....why is that you like me more than you do them...they seem to like you very much and you seem happy with them....so why me?" she ask him as she begins to move back a little. "Hannah it just seems that way....and i like you more than i do them...they may like me but it doesnt matter to me because its you i love not them....the day we became friends ifelt different..and each day that passed i felt happier everytime" he tells her as he moves closer to her "Hannah becase of you i've been feeling happier than i ever did.. its something i didnt think would ever happen but when your near me and talking with me thats how i begin to feel." he moves cose to her and holds her close and Hannah begins to blush then she holds him as well.
After that night Hannah and Jeff became closer than ever. They both stayed together even afte their highschool years were over. Both of them lived to together Jeff went t college after Hannah had sucessfully been accepted into a company without having to earn any degree. Both got married at the age of 24 and had a little girl 6 years later. They all lived together in a house on a hill near the ocean and they lived as if nothing even time itself did ot matter. The entire point of thi story is that there is always someone there thinking of you or wondering about someone like you. you'll just never know who it is also if you feel strongly about someone because you feel as if they changed something important in your life you should tell them when you think the tie is right instead of waiting for a long to only to find out that it will be too late. Remember alawys believe that someone is out there for you and who knows maybe a few years later you'll become friends just like Hannah and Jeff then learn to know that you love one another.....
