Who am I as far as skating? I'm no one. I'm an amateur from Baltimore. But I'm not your typical punk a**, skating for every wrong reason. I have been skateboarding for seven years. I skate mainly street terrain, but every once in a while I like to hit the park. So why do I skate? I skate for myself. Not my friends. Just myself. I believe that skateboarding is a beautiful self expression that should be shared with the world and everyone regardless of culture or beliefs. I believe that skateboarding is about creativity, showing your true inter-expression, pushing yourself to new heights, and just having a good time.
Skating isn't about status.
It isn't about brand names.
It isn't about stereotypical profiling.
It isn't about sponsorships.
It isn't for impressing friends.
It isnt' for impressing the girls.
Its about creativity.
And people should learn to remember that, and where skating all started.
I'm a thrill seeker.
I'm a daredevil at times.
But I do it for myself.
And I'll do it when I'm by myself.
Because I like to prove to myself,
I can do anything.
So skate for everything you believe in.
And never stop committing to it.
To anything.
