it's about a half-demon half-human named rinuki traveling with a mercenary named Yuki who protects Rinuki as bet she can, because after his demon blood calmed he lost all his skills, along with his rage, now they seaqrch the world, slaying demons as they find them.
as rinuki and yuki walk along a path to the next village they sit under a tree to rest for a little. while resting they hear water. Rinuki gets up and says "do you hear that to yuki?" she replies "yes" so they go to the water that slowly gets louder and louder.
When they reach the sound they see a beautiful oasis with beautiful flowers and a waterfall that releases a calm, fresh, river water that sparkles as the sun beats down on it.
They slowly walk up to the pond and drink from it slowly enjoying the cool touch of the river water.
after taking in a big handful of water Rinuki comments "Yuki. where did this river even come from?" Yuki then says "i don't know, but this water is very refreshing after that long walk" "wheren't you down this path already, though?" Rinuki replies to her comment. She looks up at him and after a little she says "yes, you're right, i guess i missed it." and then she smiles and after she takes in more water, she sits there and thinks how she has been down this path, and she doesn't remember a flow of water ever being here.
