More Food for your Asian Appetite
asianfoodgrocer.com is a site with that I found while trying to buy pocky online. Pocky, Pretz, Ramune, Hi-Chew, and many types of gum. They also have noodles. This is a pretty good site if you're looking for a bigger variety of ramen than they offer at the store. Also sells spring roll wraps, sushi wraps, & colored sushi wraps. Shipping is rather high.

Veryasia.com has similar products to the previous site but also has appliances like rice cookers and breadmakers. I haven't bought anything off of this site so I can't give you any heads-up about when your oder will come through. They've got YanYan and Lotte Koala cookies and they sell a variety of noodles including my favorite Sapporo Ichiban brand.

Now, I don't know who has this kind of money but maybe you could ask mom & dad for a big lump sum of money instead of that cool rice cooker you saw. On the following site, www.asianmunchies.com, you can buy pocky IN BULK! Prices are pretty good for the amount that you would get but they start at about $60 a case and go upwards from there. I haven't bought anything off of this site because I live paycheck-to-paycheck but if you've got $100 that you don't know what to do with... blow it on some pocky to last you the first month of winter.

OH! I found a link that has many different flavors of pocky. Sadly they are not a supplier but having a list is nice, too!

Since I lived by a major city, we would always just go there for things like this. (There's a buncha asian food stores, especially in China Town and the International District.) Daiso, in various malls, also has things like lunch boxes and sushi molds and pencils. Little, daily things. Everything in Daiso is $1.50, with the occasional set or really big item that's $2 or $3. I bought my super-cheapo green tea there, and my sushi molds, and some giant hair clips...

crying That's why I want to move back to Arizona... we were really close to Phoenix and they had so many more things for me to buy. No shipping necessary. -_-;; These journal posts have mainly been for me and my culture-frenzied buddies that live in the middle of nowhere. (That Hot Hot Heat song just popped up into my head and then I instantly thought of Courage the Cowardly Dog)
